People used to RAVE over the psychology class in high school. They were all playing games or were taking an alternate universe class. 

I took an english literature sequence but can't say I enjoyed it

it's the same in germany... but i know a few people who are super disappointed once they've started studying psychology in university LMAO they then drop out of uni.... idk why but people keep having this idea of psychology being such a mysterious subject and so ~cool~ and then ofc when u finish uni, u'll definitely become a psychologist and work with mentally ill people because that's so ~cool~ and u r also so ~fucked up~ and then its just ~relatable~ but JOKES on u,after ur master's degree u have to actually to be trained to be a psychologist/therapist and it costs a lot 
idk man it pisses me off so much

I don’t know about that in finland but i could imagine it being similar... school and training are at least free here.
