My tips: clean the apartment properly AT LEAST once a week, also you might want to make a grocery shopping list to avoid buying unnecessary stuff

go grocery shopping max twice a week
also second hand furniture is often very cheap and investing in a good vacuum cleaner saves a lot of time while cleaning
preparing food on the weekend and freezing it in portions saves a lot of time too
