oh yeah definitely understand this. from my friends, who are filipino, i know that mixed filipino/white are always preferred over 'full' filipino even in their own country. it's definitely a mentality that colonism created.

also the fetishization thing... ugh. it's like, either people say they are not attracted to asians at all, or they fetishize you....
