Yeah same!
LGR explains it pretty well but in Vampires, you can become a vampire, and rise in the ranks to get powers and perks to become the greatest vampire alive ;0) In Real of Magic you can become a witch/wizard and learn different spells from three different branches of magic and then, again, try to become the greatest mage alive :0

Realm of Magic you can make a spellcaster and also travel to a magic world. Learn spells, potions, duel. Its really cool comes with a town that's kinda small. With vampires you can make a vampire, drink from and turn sims, level up your ranks (also in realm you can do that) to gain cool powers and weaknesses. You can also read vampire lore books and learn about them. Comes with a town that's again small but Nice
