My dad has lived in Norway since what.. November 1982?? or so and hasn't been in Finland since my grandmother's funeral in 2004 so I'm like.. bruh.. He has only paid taxes in Norway.. in .. his entire life..

Finding a job is hard for everyone though. I was employed when I was 13-16, then I had three years break because of mental health issues and bro no one wanted to hire me after that despite me also having good grades, international experience (even before moving to Germany), recommendations from my internships and previous jobs etc and I also did like drama courses (social skills), had hobbies and participated in school activities. Before I gave up and became an au pair, I tried to look for a job for 3 months. And after my au pair job I just got my new job through my roommate. And no one there ever asked if I had completed school or anything, I just got the job because my roommate's friend recommended me

Yeah. It's shitty and very unfair. My dad has a high paying high level job despite having very little educational background (he just completed high-school and did this thing which I assume you guys would call Praktikum). He only got the job because of his family and totally doesn't deserve it
