i have to study a lot at home on my own, and i really suck at it. i get easily distracted and stuff.

what r ur best tips for studying?

i use the "hold" app on my phone so i dont use it, but i take notes in my PC, since its so much, and its so easy to just go on the internet when i get distracted and cant focus....

i also listen to calming music (lofi-music) to not get distracted from out-of-context-sounds, as that distracts me a lot.

My best tip is to take most notes on paper because that's the exact thing that will occupy you from browsing around. I mean, taking notes on a laptop doesn't work for me unless it's just a small amount. You just need to embody self-restraint tbh. And don't check your phone as well. Like if you get notifs etc. let them sit until you're done or until a break. Just focus on your work and if you're not motivated then take a break and go outside for some fresh air instead of browsing.

Otherwise, have a designated working space where you don't go on other pages (until you're done for the day.)

i also get super distracted at home, or dont even start lol

it helped to to the library to study insted, tho maybe u dont wanna do that in these times i havent studied since the start of the year bc i hopped out lol

at least for me the hardest part was to even get started, so i set a time like 30 min ill have to write as much as i can, or even just 15 min to make it easier n then i can stop. n usually i kinda get into it n keep going even after the time i set.

I don't know what you're studying but at least what I do since I read poems and books and such is that I have a digital table for those where I fill in all the information about the stuff I read in the word doc. and then, for basically, all the rest of my topics I note down the important, highlight digitally and in-book. I also simply learn so much better when I write it down compared to writing it out on laptop.

But you do you.
I am used to write endless pages of notes for hand so unless I don't have the time, I do that. If I have too little time and too much to cover, then I summarize everything on word, write the document out and read through it and notes down on it until it sticks.
