He defended himself, but I really don't see why he would even go to a riot with a gun in the first place. Like if you're that scared of people there, then why even go? 

In any case, what he did was self defense and he shouldn't be charged unless he broke some kind of gun law, has some earlier charges or something like that.

he went there to protect property and buildings that had not been vandalized yet by these crazy people
