so i just started japan studies on uni and uhh yeah im a bit overwhelmed. im trying to practise hiragana and katakana, can someone motivate me or something bc right now im confuuuuused
anyone got some good tips? should i just write them a million times, translate some sentences to romaji and stuff like that until it sticks?

Start practicing hiragana first, that's the most important. Then when you feel comfortable do katakana. It gets confusing if you try to do them at the same time.
Luckily it doesn't take more than a few days to learn both if you keep it up 😊

i have to learn both at once sadly im already behind in my class :/
my uni wasnt very clear about it, but we had to know katakana and hiragana before we started. a lot of people didnt know and uhh yeah

Only a little bit, but not much. I've only been studying for half a year, and now I haven't for more than a month, but I need to get started again so I won't lose it.

Yeah me too, it's hard to keep a proper schedule to study when you do it on your own. I went to school for it too.

I only applied for that, because all my other wishes are creative educations and I weren't home to do the required tasks.
