my guinnea pigs were never much into being social ): i dont think they were socialised enough by their previous owners, which was sad. i did sometimes get to have them in my lap and pet them but that was it, theyd bite anyone else who tried to handle them. point is guinnea pigs are adorable, i love them, and i miss having them

Alfred was like that when i adopted him (He was a rescue; came from a sever cae of animal abuse and neglect ) It took my 3months before he fully allowed me to pick him up! It's all about giving he pig time, in my experience. Alfred is extreme social and as you can see, really likes to be the center for all attention haha
