Okay so i was at a confirmation party this week with my cousin and for the first time i was complimented by someone i didn't even know, but was distantly related to. "you dont drink eh? Smart girl!" And i honestly just was so happy because it meant so much to me. I've always been told im such a child, such a looser by my own father even because i dont drink alchohol. and ive been told to "just go get wasted already" when i was 14 and all the "WHAT you've never been drunk" "cant even celebrate with us?!" "oh so u are reLigGiOuS oR SoMeThinG" has always been so tiresome. Like can't u just respect that i simply dont want to? apparently not
