okay so anyone else have hella sensitive, dry yet acne prone skin?
how does one even deal with that?

like my skin is mega dry and burning if i forget to moisturize but then after a few hours it gets super glossy and gross looking, esp when i wear makeup. if i try to treat my acne stuff my skin becomes painfully dry, scaly and glossy but when i just moisturize i also become glossy and pimply so hmm what do

hbu, is your skin shit tier?
got any product recs?

Had the same issue. Dry oily skin, bad acne.
I started using these and they cleared it up a lot!

My entire facial routine

Morning:

+  +  +  and some random eye creme. I sometimes use sunscreen if I need to be outside a lot. These moisturizers doesn't leave a greasy feeling and really "melts" into the skin. You can't really feel the moisturizers when you're wearing them

Nightly routine
Same facial wash +  = It works overnight, your skin will be a bit yellow, since the creme is yellow, but just wash it off in the morning. Usually you just apply this to areas with break outs, but I just use it on my entire face (avoid eyes!)

Also I can recommend a very good primer for makeup, esp. with dry skin n acne.
Fenty primer (cant remember the name) was really good. I'm currently using Becca's mat primer, but it can sometimes stick to the dry skin, so I just kinda "Dab" it on my oily zones.

My skin is dry but I still get tons of pimples
I keep them at bay with this but I have to use it every day and it's annoying also the face cream is expensive af :/

I think the main thing would be go see a dermatologist (if possible) to figure out the reason for your acne
because depending on what the cause, you can make it so much worse by trying to find the "easy, normal" fix

then, I also have more of a dry skin, but get super oily if I go in with most of the products for oily people (because I sweat like hell and that makes for the super grassy look for me)
so I prefer to use more lightweight products and then use them a bit more often

also, if you know that you have dry skin, stay clear from most acne products until you were able to see a doctor about it, because most of them are just drying out the pimples and if you use them all over your face, you make the dry skin worse and super dry skin

second of all, if you say moisturizer makes your skin pimple
are we talking about pimples like from acne or are we maybe talking about a small rash? (rashes don't need to be super itchy) because I once tested a moisturizer and got a shitton of pimples just to realise, that it was the biggest allergic reaction I had in a decade
