i prefer being 23 and practically broke and unable to afford nice things over being like 18 and still living at home having everything served to me (ok i didn't - i had a job) because at least i have some sort of freedom now

like, no one's up my ass about what people i'm hanging out with or if i fancy a glass of wine on a monday after work and so on and so forth
