how weird it is to write bokmål when u talk a dialekt that is different than typisk oslodialekt(which is basically like..spoken bokmål?!)
like, i talk exactly how i write
but... when nordlendinger write bokmål? in their head they are æ but their fingers go jeg.... how do they do it..

yes!!! thank you for this dialekt awareness

i also think about this a lot and i sometimes get this like dilemma about how im supposed to type to my mom because bokmål is so weird and far from my dialect lol. i mean i exclusively type in bokmål but when i think about it in my head it doesn't actually have a ''sound'' like thoughts normally do.

also the reason why it is like that is because when we first learn to write in school we learn it in bokmål and not dialect, some people pick up dialect for some reason, i never did so for me writing in bokmål comes more naturally, if im writing to another person who writes in dialect i might start to use dialect words as well to some degree

do they think in bokmål when they write
or their own dialect
n if its the latter how on earth does that work
