it could be, yes, but it doesn't necessarily have to be
there are a few other differences, too, you see
with schizoid personality disorder, a person doesn't tend to get stuck in repetitive behaviors, for example (and no, that doesn't have to mean rocking back n forth, it could be things like having certain rituals about things or repetitive thoughts or w/e - just putting that out there so that no one thinks i'm trying to put autistic people down because i'm not) and they don't tend to have noticeable problems with seeing the bigger picture (which again, doesn't have to mean a person doesn't understand anything or is unable to make any kinds of connections, it's just that it's often harder for them than it is for most other people)

sorry i just really like to discuss these kinds of things
i'm very interested in anything related to psychiatry and psychology lol
