ahhh nice ! but yeah honestly online classes are such a drag, last school yr we had to finish up the year online and at some point it was so clear to our professors that we just were so exhausted and unmotivated n there was so much other Shit going on that they just ... passed all of us and we had a picnic in the forest instead of a final assignment lmfao. glad im not in actual classes anymore this year tbh

but omg i rarely use academia.edu ? but one of my old roommates has been downloading like 15 papers a day thru our old house email i keep getting spammed w notifs its hilarious

oooh shit that sound super interesting ? i took sm classes on eu migration law n there was some rly interesting gender stuff in there too

i wasnt like, super motivated this spring. but since i had already started, knew a lil bit and had a clear direction of where i was going it wasnt thaaaat bad. like i did get good grades. but NOW? starting on scratch in a wildly different class w 50 course books? i am doomed. pedagogy is going very well though haha

i LOVE academia.edu. its very neat and easy to use. i know its very good for history, but idk about other disciplines

what are you studying?

i just started university straight from high school and i’m majoring in industrial management and engineering.
lot’s of stuff in this tuition but it’s nice it doesn’t get boring.
right now i have mix of physics, maths, economics, management, programming, software engineering and yea all kinds of cool things. I feel pretty motivated especially with the IT stuff. Physics and maths is pretty hard and i’m not used to struggling this much haha but i’ll get through this.

We've basically not even covered migration and social justice, but this third term we can choose courses in other subjects, so I'm doing three courses in Asian studies, and one in Middle-Eastern studies. My current course is about social justice, and my last course will be about migration, so I guess I have sort of incorporated those two things on my own, by choosing these particular courses...

Yeah, idk, I'm incredibly bad at coming up with topics, whether it's for a small seminar paper or thesis, so finding a topic will probably be the hardest part.
