Virtual popstar is good, but if anyone is looking for more than vp: 
Pantheon Online :  pretty cool, but dead. The avatars are very tall and cool and i like it. 

Everskies :  Avatars are genderless , it's in beta but the forums are nice and it's overall very aesthetic-looking. 

Dappervolk: very cute game where you can look after pets and chat on forums, i find it to be very time consuming on some quests or like tedious so i don't play it as much. 

Afterlyfe : I think this is still in beta but the dolls look cool , there is a forum site for it but it's extremely dead.
