I prefer gold normally, but in engagement rings I like both equally, which could be a problem if I ever get a silver one since it wont match my other jewelry. BUT if I ever get one and it's silver, I probably wont care, I'll be too fixated on the fact that i have a pretty ring on my fingerĀ

engagement ringsĀ  weren't really a thing here, my mum doesn't have one, the whole proposing with a ring thing is more american i think, but it became more popular here in the last 20 years i'd say.
If i would marry i still wouldn't want one.

Nice, a simple gold ring really suits some people better than a more detailed one. It also depends on the type of person, their style and so on
