Norway and learning Norwegian
Private

Hey, so I'm kinda stuck at learning Norwegian and since some of you are from Norway. I'm ending my school in 1,5 year and that's my first deadline since I need to learn Norwegian to at least B1/B2 level because I want to go to study arts there. So if you guys could help me i'd really appreciate it <333

First thing is I need A LOT of music in Norwegian language. I only know Kakkmaddafakka from Norway and they make music in English only. I listen to indie music like mac demarco, tame impala. I also really love King Krule so anything similar to these would be really appreciated. Besides that, I found 2 artists that I really like - Sondre Justad and TØFL.
@edit music genres I like: shoegaze, indie rock, dream pop, post rock, idm, alternative/indie, electronica

bands I like: Múm, Amiina, Mac Demarco, Sigur Rós, Cocteau Twins, New Order, Salako

The second thing is that I am really a beginner so long stories to read are still too hard. Are there any webtoons or magazines written in Norwegian? Magazines preferably about fashion/art or architecture but that isn't a must.

Tysm guys for reading my long essay love you all

My friend is currently living in Oslo and I want to study there too. I just need to pass Bergenstest or prove that I know at least B2 level Norwegian to study there and understand 80% of what they are talking about.

I'm just saying, you should aim to understand the majority of the dialects of Norwegian because even if you live and study in Oslo you will most likely end up meeting someone who talks a dialect that doesn't even resemble anything you've heard from Urban East Norwegian speakers. I'm sure you're already aware. NTNU has resources of a reading of the north wind?? and the sun with a few sound files from speakers around in Norway reading the same story so if anything it could be fun listening to to practice comprehension related to spoken Norwegian.
