i have seen loads of artists use the cheaper one and i started with that as well
but then i felt it was time for an upgrade and got the 12'9 pro one and honestly i'm so happy with it n it works amazing ! i got the 2018 version !! so it supports the second apple pencil instead of the first
i deffo feel the difference in the drawing experience
i would deffo recommend the ipad pro but i think it comes down to how much ur gonna use it and how u see urself using and what for
i also use my ipad for writing / working, watch disney+, listen to spotify, games such as stardew valley n what not
so for me it made sense to get a bigger screen so it would be easier to work on n i can take it with my easily as well !
the cheaper ipad doesn't have a glass screen and is instead made of plastic and like ouch said there is a gap between where the pen is n the screen if u go with the cheap version
alsO the ipad pro apple pen charges through the magnets on the side of the ipad which is way better than having to plug it into the charging port
this is so informative thank you! I thought I'd go for the iPad in the end cus I didn't think there was much of a difference but it sounds like there is! Its just such an investment eep
Did you find that after using the iPad you really needed to upgrade to Pro? cus I was saying to my bf I'm afraid I'd end up like that.
Also I would most likely be using the iPad on a daily basis, because of my degree, so I need it for drawing, lectures, note taking, etc. I do have a macbook but I just want something more portable rlly!
no problem !!
