and yeah i agree my standards are actually kinda low lol, but he does actually seem to be a little bit more understanding now. he's scared of going to therapy because that would make his/our problems ''real'', which is exactly what i want him to understand lol, there's no dodging this, no pretending it's not a big deal. he will have to face this whether he wants to or not if this relationship is going to keep being a thing.

dw i will. this is kinda like my last option so while i genuinely believe it's gonna do us both good, it's also kind of the ultimate test. if this isn't enough there's nothing else for me to do and dat ass will be yote. at least my conscience is 100% clean this time and i know i've done everything to my best ability and really given everything i could to make shit work. that in itself is really freeing lol.
