Might have tried to fix it, but it was too broken? that or they broke it even more themselves.
To be real tho, they probably just didn't want to give away a new item, so they tried to fix something not fixable.
It wasn't that broken honestly like the sound and everything was fine. It's not the store that will suffer economically from it anyway as it was a product error
