He’s the one I have felt ”connected to” and understanding/seen the most in the group but now I don’t really feel like I respect him the same as before, am I overreacting?

Being seen as ugly and been told to be ugly is a bit different in my opinion, it wouldn’t bother me if he just wouldn’t have made the comment
