OMG THAT'S TRUE when i was in amsterdam the cyclists were very entitled of any road. Some angry jerk shouted at old lady and then ran over her, it was nuts.

on the flip side my friend once got ran into by an old lady on a bike who then shouted at her for it

I think it's something about the fact that it's low key exhausting to bike. Like if someone is walking too close to the bike lane or a car doesn't stop for you you gotta slow down then gain speed again. annoying as all hell

Never had prob with el-scooters but I think as humans we hate change. When cars came ppl were negative af, and then the mobiles (not home-phone) etc, ppl were negative (like my dad lmao oof.). Give it some time and ppl will be comfy with el-scooters. Been ran over cyclist many times but never wrote anger article and sent to the news about it 😂

yeah i mean all complaints about the scooters really apply to bikes as well (espec electrical ones), there isn't that much of a difference. People are just used to bikes even if some don't like them either they arent like gonna act like bikes are the worst thing to have happened.

and idk maybe less negative attitude towards them might make the prices a bit lower and more people will use them and it'll benefit the environment overall. rn my biggest beef is just how much it can cost. Not gonna pay for it when ive got my bike ukno
