Bullet Journaling

Hello!

I was just wondering if any of you are bullet journaling and if you have any advice? I'm on my fourth for 2021 and I have become more or less obsessed that it should look good rather then doing it for the sake of planning....

How do you plan your activities?

i try to bullet jurnal but i have a different issue!!

every week i get less and les motivated until i dont even bother making spreads i just write stuff down and move on. in all of my journals (in on my fourth rn) i have so many unfinished spreads and no matter how hard i try i am just too lazy rip

what i did used to do was have one 'messy' spred for actual planning at the beggining of the month for actual planning and then turn that into the pretty journal spreads. idk it worked for me because i dont have a very busy life but if you were more busy it might not srry

I totally agree!! My bullet journal only works when i have something to do, otherwise it's like empty. I write numbers before hand so it's just sides with too decorative numbers hahah

Hmm may try that!!

I first got into bullet journaling from watching youtube and looking at those very aesthetic spreads on pinterest, but I can't draw for the life of me, so that obviously didn't work out very well. I still use my bullet journal every single day, however now i do something in between aesthetic (no drawings tho, just lines, letters and colours) and the original bullet journal method. I've tried a lot of different ways to lay out my weeks, but what I've found works best with my life and style of planning is hourly spreads. And that's what i love about it, you can completely personalise it to you and what works for your life.

Yes, it does take some time to create a bullet journal spread every week, but I honestly find it so relaxing and it's an ingrained part of my sunday routine now!

Not sure if this answered what you were asking at all, but yeah. I can go take some pics as well

omg same but it's okay to feel that way!! I was like that in the beginning, but after a while I could see big difference to my lettering: wait gonna take a pic
