ok fr it's not appropriate to bring magic into stuff like this at all lol
ok i'm gonna get serious for a sec
idk u but that could be multiple things such as if u have had a traumatic experience or have depression, anxiety, or a personality disorder that could b plain ol dissociation (u can dissociate w/o did or osdd if ur not familiar w it). did & osdd r also hard for the ppl who have it to recognize they have it bc ur brain blocks that out & puts u into denial about having it bc that would mean accepting heavy trauma. (not saying u do ofc but that's a really common misconception cuz like NO ONE understands systems at all)
but there's also a thing called thought insertation where u believe ur thoughts r being put into ur head by someone else
if u wanna talk about mental health stuff like just vent i can listen & give input. i'm not a professional & won't dx u or tell u i know what ur going through but i can provide resources from one mentally ill bitch to another 😔✌️ hope ur doing ok
Idk the only disorders I allegedly have is schizoid n antisocial but idk if those r rlly the most uhh,, dissociative disorders lol. But anyways yes I do dissociate on the regular but not rlly uhhh,, like popping out of reality that much I think, more like just im in a bubble n nothing around me is real type of deal idk. Spectator of my own life. Lmfao that sounds emo af. And involuntary age regression when I get triggered of stuff which was why the dude wondered if I had did in the first place but its not rlly uhh,, im still me n im still aware of whats happening but I just do things n I can't suppress it very well idk
i think u should check out this doc ik it says it's for did & osdd but it has resources for general dissociation, age regression, & ptsd too (as well as providing good descriptions of did/osdd which imo everyone should read but i'm biased on that subject)
idk that much about schizoid or antisocial but if u experience age regression that can be a form of dissociation (basically, dissociating from current reality into a younger age)
i experience a lot of that too that sounds 100% like dissociation. it doesn't sound emo, not feeling real, feeling floaty n stuff that's just the definition of dissociation. depersonalization-derealization disorder (dpdr) is a thing (tho if u ask me dissociation is a symptom of a disorder & not a disorder itself)
tho i can't speak much on dissociating w/o being a system i have osdd if u wanna ask about it ✌️ w osdd-1b u don't get blackouts or anything just a real awful memory. or usually imo the distinction between osdd/did rly isn't as much as ppl think and i believe osdd-1 is just a different way did can present itself but that's another topic for another day
it prolly made em ask about did cuz they can talk to u like that & sometimes it's hard to tell if it's u or not. but ur thoughts can just feel like Not Yours from dissociation without being a system
the doc i linked has some explanations about that w dissociation in personality disorders vs. ptsd vs. did/osdd i think
Ill check it out. Also isn't the difference between did n osdd pretty much just u either have not fully developed alters (like they r a different version of u idk??) or that u don't experience black outs, depending on what type u have. Idk man
