I just did on that day because I was new and I wanted to "integrate" by smoking with some colleagues because it's a good way to talk I guess
But it was literally 1 time and I mean clearly his feelings for me changed but damn.. it kinda hurts that I've repulsed him before

if u dont smoke and he didnt rlly know i understand it was dissapoiting. 
One of my criteria in relationships are no smokers, and maybe he thought the same and suddenly you're there smoking? 
My bf partysmoked one time and it really made me sad and dissapointed, and it came out of the blue. 
don't think it's personal to call you that,  but rather got clear opinion about smoke/smokers and was surprised/sad idk. Have you talked about it further?
