Pulling 2 all nighters - still not tired??

my insomnia is SO BAD rn. 

Ok so yesterday I slept for literally a maximum of 2 hours, and then I decided there was just no hope for me to fall asleep, so instead I decided to just stay awake for the whole day today to hopefully make me tired today.. It didn't work at all. I went to bed at 23, and I literally just layed there for 3.5 hours wide awake and unable to sleep. I then decided to just get out of my damn bed, and now I am concidering if I should just stay awake again until tomorrow to hopefully get so sleep deprived that I magically fall asleep tomorrow at 23. I need to fix my sleep schedule ASAP because I have school.

honestly just lay down with your eyes closed and pretend to be asleep its better to do that and rest a little bit that way at least like at least you get rest that way

plus i was hoping to fall asleep at 23 so I could get up at 7.30. There is absolutely no fucking hope for that atm because that would just give me 3.5 hours of sleep IF i fell asleep magically the second I get into bed again. There's just no use.

but should I just lay there? cause ive read that its better to just get out of bed and do something else if you cant sleep within the first 30 mins after getting into bed, so that you dont associate the bed with just laying awake. Seems like my brain does the last.

i put on tv shows ive seen a million times and close my eyes and pay attention to whatever eleanor and chidi are saying to distract me from whatever my brain is tryna do

it sucks not to be able to sleep, especially when you have a schedule. i don't have work/school so i can work around my funky sleeping patterns now, but it still affects my mood, symptoms and everything so much.

i always try to sing a song in my head cus it will focus on something less important then all stupid thoughts that comes up.
