like i remember quite clearly the moment when words like 'tea' n 'lit' started blowing up massively , they werent always so prevalent in every1s vocabulary (or like white ppls vocabulary) but they sure as hell r now, and younger ppl especially probably dont realise where these words came from so yh i think its good to b reminded

These things I find so difficult because its my second language and I pick up most of my words online thinking this is regular English right, but this totally means i need to double check words from now on.
