like..... you're literally removing an organ from your body.. just because it's inconvenient and you don't like it. it's a surgery which always comes with risks and a (total) hysterectomy will cause instant menopause since your body can't produce estrogen anymore. so you have to take meds for the rest of your life i think? hysterectomies can also cause incontinence and vaginal prolapse, and they increase your chance of osteoporosis... it just baffles me how doctors will even agree to remove ppl's uteruses without like a medical need for it?

you could get sterilized though that's wayyyy less invasive than a hysterectomy

the chance of finding a doctor that would let you do this is so astronomically low. they dont even like giving hysterectomies to women who need them lmao.
