and I'm nervous as hell lol

He didn't know I existed until last week, basically my mom got pregnant, he didnt want the baby, she did. My mom met someone else and broke up with him and later told him she had a miscarriage. The man she met back then raised me, I also have his last name and stuff cause I always saw him as 'dad'. Never really had a good bond with him, they divorced a few years back, he's still a narcissistic asshole lol

So last week I asked my mom if I could contact him and she was like that's a decision you have to make, I just don't wanna be involved. So I did, he was mad confused but took it quite well. My mom blocked him on fb, so eventually his wife sent her a message asking if they could ask her a few questions bc they were confused but not at all mad.

And now my mom is really mad at me and hasn't spoken to me since friday <3 I hate it here! she also doesn't know that I'm meeting him yet

anyway he's driving 2 hours to meet me and my girlfriend tomorrow, he's been super sweet so far and I'm very nervous but hsdjhks

thanks for coming to my ted talk

Good luck hun as i know exactly what it's like. My mum never wanted me to have anything to do with my biological dad but that meant i was missing out on knowing my half siblings (who now i have an amazing relationship with).

My boyfriend at the time was the one who encouraged me to do it and i'm forever grateful to him for telling me to ignore my mum and do what was right for me. I was 18 at the time and now 24. My mum has eventually come round and so has my dad (stepdad who raised me) have accepted it xx
