where as i feel like shows that just want to talk how tematics a teenage really do will experience the age is usually more correct.

but yeah it is kinda weird. it feels like showrunners want to portray the life of a college kid, but want the audience a popular teen show brings - so they combine both and end up w characters and stories that are suuper unlikely
