After lecture I walked to the centrum area to see if they had any spicy plants I could substitute my dead/dying plants with as some of them weren't really huge fans of me going home for 5 weeks (they did not go 5 weeks without water) despite them in theory being able to handle that (as I have several of each plant group family (but not the exact same "member) and the rest did really good so idk) but yeah. I intended on only buying one and only substituting the actual dead one but I didn't find any plant that spoke to me that would be a good substitute for it BUT

BUT

I found substitutes for the dying ones

They literally had two different dieffenbachias and I was like I'm not going to spend much money so Intended to buy the small one but the big one was about the same size as the dying one (pre whatever fucked it up probably a virus or bacteria that only affected that plant because the stem randomly started rotting in the middle as one does) 

My new children (shit pictures because honestly bad light and also it isn't that important

Honestly @Heaven can confirm that I was complaining about dieffenbachias yesterday like buhu I want a new one because my old one is dying but I don't think they sell them here and I'm not going to Trondheim until middle of March but!!!! THEY HAD THESE!!
I think they literally got them today because when I walked past on my way to a different one they got a shipment so when I came afterwards to look they had these!!

Me too, I haven't fully given up on the dying ones but I'll hide them in my bedroom so I don't sit stare at my failure all the time and also one of them is probably not dying but so much of it is that I'm waiting until the new leaf opens and then I'll cut it and see if I can save some of it

The other one is just.. I thought it was okay but when I moved it the leaf I thought was okay fell off and I'm not emotionally ready to part with it although I'll probably come across a new one again but >: ( the audacity
