I might lose my job but oh well

there's a quarterly survey we're all meant to take n choose a number between 1 and 10 for what we'd rate the q like "I feel like our wellbeing is the priority when decisions are made" or "work makes me feel satisfied" shit like that
n I've rated at the high end for everything to do with personal satisfaction working there, workload, support from manager etc.
but then we get to the covid questions like the first example I gave n I'm just being reeeeal fuckin honest about how I think it's wrong to still have walk-in takeaways when schools are closed, nhs is on the brink, death toll was higher today than ever before, fines introduced if ur leaving the house for unessential reasons like honestly I'd rather say how I feel in a nicer n shorter n respectful way than just pretend I have no issue with it cos my blood has boiled recently gd god. here's hopin it doesn't come back 2 bite me in the butt but hey u asked for feedback don't shoot the messenger

what are u doin

I hope so like imo I haven't been rude or snarky w answers like

"I feel like our wellbeing is the priority when decisions are made"
> In tier 4 we were doing takeaways, click and collect and deliveries and it's the same now - doesn't make sense to me considering schools are closed and other fast food franchises have introduced more restrictions. Keeping walk-in takeaways open, particularly during peak times, does not make me feel like our wellbeing is the priority when the decision was made to keep things as they are.

like is this ok idk a part of me is feelin v uneasy abt it lol

idkkk like it just tripped me the fuck out that the opening page for it was like "this is kept anonymous unless more than 3 people answer" or some shit I can't remember it perfectly but I was like ha ha um what ???? how does this make any sense ? we had to use our work logins n stuff so ofc they're gonna know who it's from it just seems odd 2 me

I think it's completely valid criticism. If you lose your job over this I'd be genuinely gobsmacked

If they're not ready to get feedback they shouldn't ask for it, if it's a remotely serious business they should take the concerns of their employees seriously and honestly I completely see where you're coming from because things are very shut down right now in the UK and being like sure fam just stop by in here mate it's free real estate is like.. okay but you are aware the employees are living humans who can get sick if someone carries the virus?? Which must be a very unfortunate situation, it's probably a worse loss for them economically to have their employees out in quarantine for god knows how long than just not let people come in, especially during peak hours.

literally !!! honestly baffles me ? like they've introduced fines in the uk so if you leave your house and aren't going out for an essential reason you can be charged n I'm just like oh ok so getting a takeaway is an essential reason to leave your house when the death toll is at 1.7k people today ???? really ?? right makes total sense 10/10 business structure. but then a lot of that blame falls on the government too cos when it was at it's worst last year all the big fast food franchises were shut so why the fuck they haven't closed them again completely? just leaves me at a fucking loss cos it's so much worse this year n I'm sure part of that is the increased movement of people in relation to takeaways n stuff like the amount of people we have in store sometimes is just. wrong for what's going on in the country rn, been a long time since something has made me enraged like this lol

Yeah, nah, it's completely fair to bring it up and if they have issues with it I think you should just elaborate because it's a very valid opinion and we still have no idea exactly what's up and it's beyond me how they're okay with risking so much for profit lmao.. capitalism

literally lmao n I work for a huge franchise like fuck no would you go bankrupt if you had to close the stores in the uk for a bit like good god it just highlights it even more ? esp cos mcdonalds vry close to us is only operating via their drive thru like ok yea we don't have one but we haven't changed at all since tier 4, just highlights the differences even more for me in terms of employee protection n everything grrrr it's beyond me. on the flip side I know a lot of people r staying sane during this by indulging in takeaways n all so I do hav some sympathy n understanding for the like """"wholesome"""" reasons individuals may want them to stay open even at a reduced capacity but when it's physical in store shit n you end up with loads of people it just erodes any sort of belief that boris is making good adult decisions
