So Goodreads basically let you shelve the books you have read, want to read, and are currently reading (+ page progress). Separately you can add tags to them where you can sort them into, e.g. "fantasy," "prose" and so on. You make your own tag.
When you have finished a book, you can rate and write a review for it that will show to everyone else or don't. That's up to you. If you add friends, you can see what they are reading ( what they are updating, that is ) and interact with it if you want to. That means, like or comment.

It works great for everyone, really. I love keeping the books I have read and want to read on it. Every time I am about to purchase books, I go to my tbr shelf and look through the ones I have added. If I feel like one don't speak to me anymore, I can easily remove it.

You can also search for literally any book on there to get its basic information, reviews, and ratings -- which often help me decide if I think a book is worth the money of a firsthand copy, and so on. It does suggest you places to purchase any book from but they are US\UK\amazon based so for me, they aren't relevant.

Girl we are on the same kick right now haha. I really love Mend! A Refashioning Manual And Manifesto
The woman who wrote Modern Mending followed my insta and sent me her video on photographing your mending work and I about cried.
I just ordered several more mending books with my grant money.
I have to keep mending things, and keeping a blog for the year.

Currently writing another grant to make clothing out of discarded textiles.

After my short stint working in sustainability (ugh), I'm really anti greenwashing so I'm loving seeing all these sustainable fashion initiatives that DON'T involve me buying new shit.

What I really love about this one

is it does not shame you for loving and buying clothing, but rather encourages loving and buying used clothing, and keeping it in good shape, and passing it on as your style changes.

I hate green initiatives that shame people, because it doesn't work

Repair work is a passion of mine, I'll probably end up ordering the book.
I really want to learn to fix electronics and small appliances - but the closest I've gotten as learning to fix old sewing machines lol

women are and always have been living, breathing libraries full of survival skills, like mending clothing, that are undervalued in capitalist society.

Honestly sounds like that might be helpful! I'm a picky buyer so seeing peoples honest reviews might help me a bit more in terms of whether i will be wasting my money or not.
Do the page support books in other languages than english? or does that depend on if anyone has added it to the page?

also I love your posts because sustainability in the US is such a performative marketing gimmick that I just love seeing how it presents itself elsewhere

It does support other languages, but everything is up to if it has been added to the page. Unless you have some obscure, yet-to-be-released books in not-English you should be okay. BUT if it exists an English version you can just add that one instead.
