how tf do people sleep

idgi like i go to bed with the intention to sleep right i get under the covers and i close my eyes and i lie there motionless waiting for sleep to happen. but then i just lie there like an idiot for an hour and nothing happens. every time

the only way i can sleep is if i'm fully and completely exhausted like "can't keep my eyes open anymore" tired. if i'm only vaguely sleepy it's not gonna happen

i don't understand how people do it like is there some secret trick i just don't know about

u know that one tiktok audio that people claimed was angels from the bible but it actually is cats meowing slowed down, i watched like a dozen tiktoks with it cus i was bored and when i went to sleep my mind could not stop playing it so i put on white noise lmao
