i quit smokin 4 years ago, but i still smoke sometimes when i'm drunk. i know it's just stupid but idk all my friends are drunk smokers too and not like there's any peer pressure on that anymore, but it's just too easy to go with them and it just feels good when you're drinking

i understand that it becomes a habit and then it feels good because of the addiction but i can't imagine starting smoking because you think it might reduce anxiety?

I bought my first pack of cigs after my friend and I were almost killed by another friends violent partner, and he told me it'd make me feel better

by now i turned it into somewhat of a skill by making my cigarettes myself instead of buying them ready in boxes, but also exchanging normal filters with menthol filters because i cant eat bubblegum but the taste calms me down by a lot.
after an especially hard day or task i reward myself, but im planning on exchanging the reward with something else as soon as my mental health is getting better
