First of all, I just wanted to apologize to anyone who is disappointed in me after my last thread I wanted to share my feelings on the topics and i would never speak from anyone elses perspective. I only wanted to share my own feelings but i did it in the wrong way.
I deleted the thread because it got out of hand and didnt explain my point of view enough so it bececame misunderstood (which is my fault for not properly explaining it).
What I tried to say was that I wasn't 100% comfotrable learning german as a language because my own intrest in germany and history regarding ww2. I watch a lot of documentaries, debates, i talk about to people about it. (mind you im 100% white). So i would never want to seem like Im learning german because of the wrong reasons. Does this mean you for example cant learn german? Aboslutley not. Im only talking about my own feelings and i understand i didnt make that clear enough in my last thread, which i am sorry for. I talk to many jewish people so i feel genuinly bad when these topics are brought to the light so i would never want to offend them (or anybody else). Because of my own education and involvement , i dont want to come across as romanticizing the language (and taking adventge of my position as someone who hasn't been personally affected by the horrors in ww2). That's all.

you can learn whatever language you want. We all have different bounderies of what we are comfotrable with and that is perfectly fine.
