actually agreeing with both statements like women aren't supposed to think of themselves as pretty because of the whole being modest and humble shit, but also OP is most certainly conventionally attractive, ugly people don't think of themselves as pretty, because they have eyes and ears to observe the reaction of people around them and the general ideals of beauty.
Pretty privilege definitely exists and saying stuff like 'everyone is pretty' erodes the meaning of the word.
i absolutely think pretty privilege exists and i'm lucky that the world around me has generally validated me in thinking i'm pretty and that's helped obviously. but it's kinda sad to view it as a privilege cuz i think that makes it feel even more unattainable. literally anyone can feel pretty, it's just going to be harder for some people.
