Yes. Doesn't matter how old something is, art is art.
Don't know about favs, but can tell that I recently watched Some Like It Hot and kinda interested in Marilyn Monroe more than ever after watching it. Hope about you, what's your favs?

Some Like it Hot is a fucking classic! It was pretty radical and revolutionary for its time.
That ending tho omg, fucking KILLS.

The movie I posted, Double Indemnity, is probably my favorite, at least my favorite old film noir. I love the movies that Charlie Chaplin directed later in his career because they were super politically subversive.Ā
I'd say the 1930s-1940s is actually my favorite era of film, but I'll be honest my scope is pretty limited to american movies.

I was shocked at the ending, but I was like "Fuck yes!", truly ahead of it's time.
Normally I like to go with old movies with color, but I couldn't pass not watching this since it's highly acclaimed and it's got Marilyn Monroe in it whom I'm really curious about.

Sounds interesting, any Chaplin film that caught your attention the most?

Lol at the constant interrupting and then the end when he's forgets what he's going to say.
The film looks really good. Think I'm going to check this out.
