I had a followup appointment for birth control and I mentioned that that I started a medication that made the birth control pills ineffective but that I was probably going to quit this medication anyway so I thought I might as well stay on them as it's not dangerous or anything they just make the birth control less effective. Having really noticed anything I haven't gotten my period so ig it's just u have a higher chance of getting preggo.

But of course
I'm taken off them and they say I can start them again if I decide to go off these other meds because going on and off birth control again and again sounds safe.
I was also booked an appointment with a doctor to discuss another alternative but she said since I dont have a partner there's no hurry i was like bro im using them for my period.

It's also funny whenever ive gotten off birth control before theyve been like bUT hOw WiLl yOu PrOtECT URSELF! as if i didn't have the option to
a) not have sex w boys
b) use a condom


so that sucks
considering this was the only birth control i didnt have side effects to

and i know they'll be forceful about putting in a spiral again like last time and im not kidding i went in for 4 appointments trying to get it taken out because they claimed i didnt want it taken out why tf u think im here

the fact that i could have used a condom if i wanted to have sex with boys during the time i tried this med. but to them i am completely unprotected if i can't use birth control and that's the problem.

its worked for me for ten years.

the only downside to condoms honestly is ive had boyfriends who didnt like it and tried to pressure me to get on BC and been real assholes about it but i've been with doug for five years now and we're still using condoms. good men will comply with condom use. doug doesnt complain about it. he doesnt act like a little brat about it. he says 'yea we gotta do it because of your depression i get i and i love you'. so honestly its even a good shittest for men. like if he acts like a brat over condoms- dont fuck him hes a low value loser.
