I feel like i remember them testing me where i had to stay awake, so they could test me while sleeping. Thought it was maybe the same one.

If i were you I would go to a regular doctor and see if I would be referred to a neurologist. It's not easy to get diagnosed though. It took me five years to get my diagnosis although I had regular seizures including tonic clonic ones.

I don't know how common it is in other types of epilepsy, but i had a child epilepsy that caused my seizures to come while i was sleeping. I have only had a single seizure while being awake and honestly it was very calm? (the symptoms included loss of sight, hearing and my muscles kind of just went limb)

aa i actually have a neurologist but for nerve pain, idk why i didn't think of this earlier lol
