Question about Sims 4

So, i used to play Sims 4 but since November 2019 it hasn't want to run.

I currently have Mac Mojave Version: 10.14.6 installed i did try to update software but myself and Apple who tried found it broke my mac which has the following specks:

- MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) (( I bought it new from the Apple Store in September 2015))
- Proccessor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
- Memory: 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
- Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

i used to play with CC so thought that was the problem but it took it all out and still had issues now i want to play again so was wondering if anyone else has had these issues playing on Mac

Apparantly you don't need to if it doesn't notify u u have to do it when u try to open, but it doesn't hurt to try

It's a mac i have for personal use as next week i'll be get a windows laptop from work (which will be fun trying to figur eout how to turn on lol) xx
