Exactly and it's especially awful because people tend to think those with some degree etc know their shit but then they go on to say stuff like ''people with x are inherently batshit insane evil manipulative'' so obviously others will think they're speaking the truth right? Yeah that was straight up terrible. She spoke of it as everyone with the disorder is on the really severe side of it when it is a spectrum

my best friend is an addiction counselor and you wouldn't believe how many of her coworkers straight up hate addicts and poor people.
like, half the reason she wants to stay in that field is because all the other case workers are so cruel.
