i've been video chatting with my sister who lives in the uk & one of her friends a couple times and i get nervous and embarrassed about not knowing english words for something (despite of them constantly telling me that i'd pass as a native speaker), and always sort of expect they're going to make fun of me when i can't pronounce something etc. idk if this is a cultural thing or just bad self esteem, i feel like every single finnish person i know is embarrassed about their ability to especially talk, but also write in english???
