The timing is wow for me. My old cat Ravenpaw ran away and I hhad looked everywhere for him. He still isn't home, and he would have loved Alexa he likes kittens he always had a maternal streak in him. Raven always did great with kids and babies. Alexa has been a blessing, my fiance named him. We are getting married in november. He absolutely loves Alexa too regardless of us being long distance. She comes with me when I move to California =)

Oh sad I feel you .I have had many dogs and cats so far.  My parents did not allow them to adopt and some of them ran away.  and I was so sad. I was crying

One fell off a computer desk and broke his neck. One was poisoned by apartment complex no idea if neighbor or manager. Four houses away from me down the road was up for sale. What we all neighbors had no idea was that the previous owners abandoned their cats. Male and female long hair they were not fixed. The new neighbor that had moved in found out about the cats. However it was when my mother and I were coming over for a welcoming gift (baked cookies) as she was telling us about what the cats were doing...she was describing nesting/mothering behavior from the female. Between her house and backyard there was old boxes left from previous owner. inside one was Alexa. mama cat was real friendly, didnt care we handled her baby. Alexa was skinny, eyes were infected with conjunctivitis. mama stopped nursing and it wasnt far away that a smell hit us. =( found the siblings. they looked like they had not aged unlike alexa, So we think birth was complicated. I took her to the vet she was at that point 2 weeks old according to the vet. For a day we kept trying to get mama to nurse her but it was getting to the point Alexa was getting weaker so I took her home. Been with me since, she doesn't like me leaving a room she follows. Watches me all the time, and nurses on me even after eating. She thinks I'm mama. =)

She is a strong girl for sure. 4 weeks and she is trying to go without formula so compromising and she has been eating packs of puree with some formula mixed in.
