then, in february of 2017, almost 11 years later, i get the same crippling pain in the same exact spot. was so bad i threw up everything in my stomach and then some. i went to the hospital. they did some tests. thought maybe appendicitis but they weren't sure. did an ultrasound to see if my appendix was enlarged. he couldn't even find it, which meant appendicitis was unlikely. but he did see something weird on my kidney. the opening to the ureter or whatever was wider than it should be. there was only one explanation. kidney stone
