whats your opinion on twitter?

I feel like out of all the social media twitter is one of the "scariest".
Scary in that sense, that people are ruthless bullies behind their screens. Exposé threads when you make a mistake or if you didn't know a certain phrase is any kind of phobic. You're not allowed to be educated, you are expected to be already.
If you are a fan of X or Y you are already seen in a certain way.
It's SO easy to bully people there and it's just horrible how often it happens.

I feel like twitter is just a bit different..
I literally only follow artists because I love their art and still saw an artist who didn't wanna talk about american issues and politics (they literally aren't american) get doxxed and outed to their homophobic family in a homophobic country where they life could be in danger for getting outted!
I feel like people have way too much power on their behind their screen it disgusts me so much how people bully and think it's savage or funny to ruin someones reputation and life

I read about how cancel culture simply doesn't work and it's true.. it might give a celebrity a bad reputation, but it doesn't make them lose their money
Also I don't think cancel culture applies to crimes that do rightfully take away a lot of your sponsors
and I also think it doesn't make sense to try and cancel someone whose a normal citizen.. for honest mistakes

I like it too! It's a huge platform with many different kind of communities and things and people to see, it's just a shame there is a huge mass of people trying to bring others down

yep
it's just a way for ppl to show their suspected moral and pure superiority so they can seem more "right" and popular.

LITERALLY like "I'm so glad you exposed them, you did the right thing <3" stop supporting slander and bullying when you have an issue with one person you could've resolved or just block and move on
