Should i re-pierce my ears
Postproduction

Three years ago I pierced my ears, but they started hurting really bad and some weird luiquid came out of (yum) so I took the earings out to rinse, but then my ears starter bleeding, and I couldn't put them back in sooo now I have a bump on each ear (probably blood that gathered up)

Was this normal for you when you pierced your ear? Was it a mistake to take the earings out so soon to rinse?

I really miss having something in my ears, I'm not a big fan of jewlery, but I think som simple hoops are very pretty

How long did you wait the second time to remove the earings before rinsing?

It's not blood, it's hypertrophic scarring, it's bound to happen if you take your jewellery out of an infected piercing, if you don't take care of the piercing site after you've taken the jewellery out, if the piercing is old etc etc. You probably shouldn't have taken the jewellery out, it's important not to touch the piercing site for as long as is recommended by your piercer (that is if you got it pierced professionally). New piercings often bleed, that's very normal but further along the line bleeding could be a sign of infection.
That's not to say you shouldn't rinse your piercing site, you absolutely should, and you should clean it a few times a day with something like piercing solution or sea salt soaks, all depending on the instructions of your piercer.
All that being said, you probably shouldn't listen to me, I'm not an expert in any way, just an enthusiast.

You gave me MUCH more advise than the guy doing the piercing. He was like yeah rinse a few times should be good. I thought that there was something wrong with me, like I had an allergic reaction or something, but I see now I totally didnt have a good cleansing routine

yes, if u got ur ears pierced recently (back then) u shouldn't change them within 4-6, i think some say 8 weeks even, and for a whole year u should always have something in ur piercing, or else the hole can close really fast up. when i got my septum pierced they put in a waaaaay too small jewelry, so it got infected (yes only bc of there wasn't room for it to heal) so i obviously needed to get it changed at the piercer. it felt like they fucking repierced it when they changed it, cause the hole was already closing it self after not having anything in the hole for maybe 2-3 minutes + infection, so it was more painfull than getting the piercing in the first place
but talk with a piercer about this, a place you kno that got their shit together and good recommendations

Bruh he doesn't sound very professional... I don't know, you should ask Kieren, they're a tattoo apprentice and know quite a bit about piercings as well.

yeah he definitely should have told you that it's normal that there can come some liquid out, blood or white ish stuff, get red and/or a little swelling , my piercer still tell me that, even tho they know me, but it's procedure to do... agree with alam, sounds very unprofessional
it's first infection when the liquid is like green ish yellow idk and smells super bad

Yeah he definetly wasn't, I didn't get any heads up of what I could expect to happen, so I freaked out from the smell and luiquid so I took them out

Don’t take out healing piercings, big big mistake. Earlobes take about a month to heal, and you should let the ears rest for at least that long. You can get much worse infections or skin trauma by removing them.
you can probably repierce them tho, ask ur piercer
