most of the writers room is women and margarat atwood is heavily involved in the show and this is very much within her philosophy as an author.

im only halfway thru the first season. i was supposed to watch it all for this class i audited on it but i found watching it to be kinda triggering lmfao it was easier to take the story in written format some of the visuals were upsetting lol
