yes i'm gonna keep it but i just wonder like what's gonna happen to sweet potato part.. like if it's gonna rot at some point or something idk 
i really didn't do anything, just kept it there and give it water like once a week

for the first 2 months nothing, but right when it was starting to be more sunshine and warm that all grew in like 2 weeks
